Homemade Face Mask for Oily Skin


Peel off a cucumber and grate it finely, squeeze the pulp to collect one tablespoon of cucumber juice. Break open one egg and collect its white, add this to cucumber juice, add ½ teaspoon of clay and ½ teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients well and apply the resultant paste over face forming a mask. Let it stay for 20 minutes and wash off it will make you feel refreshed and will make skin softer, and supple free from oiliness. This is one of the popular homemade face masks for oily skin.


Put one ripe apricot after peeling and deseeding it in a blender, blend to form a paste. Add one tablespoon of yogurt and ½ teaspoon of clay and blend again. Apply the paste over face like a mask and let it stay for 20 minutes. Wash off later this too is very useful way to keep skin free from excessive oil and clean.


Take a ripe banana and mash its pulp, collect three teaspoons of banana pulp and add one teaspoon of honey and few drops of lemon juice to it. Mix all the ingredients to form a thick paste and rub this paste over skin of face. Leave the paste over skin for 20 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water later. This will clear skin pores and will take away layer of oil to provide shiny and soft skin. This too is one of the effective homemade face masks for oily skin.


There is another very useful homemade face mask for oily skin provided by banana. Mash pulp of a ripe banana and collect a tablespoon of it, add one tablespoon of yogurt and five drops of peppermint essential oil to it, also add ½ teaspoon of clay. Blend the mixture to mix all the ingredients well. Apply this paste over face and leave it for 20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water later and wipe the skin dry.


Take 8 strawberries and blend in a blender, add one tablespoon of clay and few drops of lemon juice to the mixture. Apply this paste over face skin and leave it for 20 minutes. Wash off later and repeat this few times in a week.


Add two teaspoons of green tea to one teaspoon of honey and two teaspoons of clay. Mix them well and add this mixture to a tablespoon of Aloe Vera gel. Use fresh aloe vera gel for better effects. Apply this thick paste in the form of a layer and leave for 20 to 30 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water later. This is very useful for treating oily skin.



Process one beet in fruit processor and collect 1 ½ teaspoon of juice, add one teaspoon of green clay and 5 drops of peppermint essential oil, apply this mixture over face and let it stay for 20 minutes. Wash off later and repeat few times in a week. This too is effective homemade face mask for oily skin.


Take one teaspoon each of olive oil, yogurt and clay and mix them well. Add two drops of eucalyptus essential oil to the mixture and apply over face. Let it sit on the skin for 20 minutes and wash off. Apply again few times in a week this is simple but one of the useful DIY homemade face masks for oily skin.


Orange juice provides one of the simplest homemade face masks for oily skin. Squeeze some orange juice and add one tablespoon of Aloe Vera gel, mix them well and apply over face forming a mask. Leave it for 20 minutes and wash off to gain supple and clear skin. You can prepare another face mask by adding clay and corn flour. Add clay and corn flour in equal quantities and add orange juice to make a thick paste. This too is useful for treating oily skin.


Take 3 tablespoons of finely grounded oatmeal, add 2 tablespoons of yogurt and ½ teaspoons of honey, mix all the ingredients well and apply a thick layer of paste over facial skin. Wait for 20 to 25 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. Repeat few times in a week if you have severe condition of oily skin to gain clear and shiny skin.
